Brisbane Bus Makes an Unsanctioned Wildlife Stop

A koala wandered into traffic in Brisbane, prompting a bus driver to step in and offer temporary shelter, right on the city bus. The driver calmly ushered the animal aboard while waiting for trained rescuers to arrive. Wildlife officials later reminded everyone that koalas are cute but armed, and best admired from a safe distance. Still, it’s hard not to admire a city where public transit briefly doubles as marsupial housing. Just another reminder that nature has its own commute schedule.

A man in Germany has once again broken his own world record, now owning 11,000 different snow globes. The collection spans decades, continents, and themes ranging from Paris landmarks to Santa piloting a helicopter. It’s impressive, slightly baffling, and raises fair questions about shelf space. Still, there’s something comforting about a hobby taken this seriously. When the world feels loud, some people just keep shaking tiny storms in glass.
