A Raccoon Goes Global and Settles in Belarus

A raccoon from the U.S. recently arrived in Belarus the hard way hidden inside a car container. Less than a week later, officials say he’s thriving, energetic, and already bored with his living space. He’s added crab sticks and grapes to his diet and spends his time eating and “training,” which sounds more disciplined than most of us manage. The raccoon, now called Senya, remains in quarantine while customs officers stop by to check on him. It’s a reminder that some Americans adapt to foreign life faster than others even without a passport. |
